Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977, is an American actress best known for her role in 24 and the voice acting that she did for Tess in NaughtyDog's game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. During her youth, she competed in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She has an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by making an appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to guest starring roles on such shows as Charmed Killer Instinct Supernatural and Cold Case. From March through November 2007 she was the main character as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap show General Hospital. Additionally, she been a part of theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she appeared as a series regular for the first season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed that Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap actor Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. The character was teased on Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was made public in the story trailer seen on the Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would play the role of the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
