Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going to appear in major-screen comedy like 'Elf "Anchorman" and Talladega Nights. Born in 1967 in Irvine, California, Will Ferrell began his career in comedy as a member of the improv group from Los Angeles known as the Groundlings. After his seven-year stint as a Saturday night Live cast member, Ferrell was one of the most renowned comedic actors on the market with off-color hit films like Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004). Ferrell is also co-creator of the popular video streaming website Funny or Die, and experienced success as a voiceover actor via animated features such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in Irvine, California on July 16, 1967. Will Ferrell was the youngest child of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and instructor Kay Ferrell. He was according to his own admission, not exactly the class clown as a University High School student. A quiet and solitary person, Ferrell determined to leave his mark on the football pitch and set the school record for the most field goals made. Ferrell displayed a lack of absurd, humorous behaviour that would determine his career even at his suburban home. His mother, who was interviewed by Esquire she said that her son was pleasant and kind. "You have seen those cute Matchbox cars? Will put together his Matchbox cars on his own and be totally content. You'd ask, 'Do you want to go to Disneyland today, or arrange your cars?' It would be a difficult discussion for him to think about. "That's not to say Ferrell was a straight guy. The hints of his comic skills showed up each morning in high school, as he would disguise his voice for the daily announcements on the PA system. Ferrell graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1986. He joined the Delta Tau fraternity, and went on to pursue a degree in sports journalism.
