Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick was born to Janice (Cooke), an accounting professional as well as William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke Kendrick, her older brother, also has performed. Anna Kendrick is Scottish, Irish and English. Her stunning performance earned her the Drama League and Theatre World Award.She was a lead singer with Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live" in Great Performances: My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies (1999) (TV). Alongside Scott Ellis and Susan Stroman she was able to work alongside Jeremy Irons at the New York City Opera House. She played Fredrika in "A Little Night Music" as well as worked with Todd Graff on the feature film Camp (2003). It was her second nomination for the award in Tony history (after 1991's Tony winner, Daisy Eagan).
