Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

Michelle Lynn Monaghan was born on the 23rd of March, 1976. She is well-known for her roles in Kiss Bang Bang (2006), Gone Baby Gone (2007, Made of Honor (2008)), Trucker (2008) and Source Code (2011). Her lead role in Mission: Impossible III (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011) and Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) has earned her recognition. Monaghan was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. She was also Sarah Lane on the drama series The Path (2016-18). Monaghan was the character Eva Geller on the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah. The show was pulled after just one season. Monaghan was the daughter of Sharon Hammel (a factory worker) in Winthrop. Bob as well as John are her two older brothers. Monaghan is a Catholic with Irish and German descent and graduated from East Buchanan High School, 1994. After graduation, she moved to Chicago to pursue a journalism degree at Columbia College Chicago and began to model. She has modelled in Milan and Tokyo, Tokyo, Hong Kong as well as the United States. After one semester to finish her journalism course in 1999, she moved to New York to pursue an acting career. Prior to becoming an actor, she worked as models and has appeared in numerous magazines and catalogs. Monaghan's initial two television appearances, in a supporting role, were as Caroline Busse in episodes of Young Americans, which aired in 2000. In "Consent", Monaghan played the character as Caroline Busse. She was also a part of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit during the same episode. On January 19, 2001, she was featured in "Consent". That year, her big screen debut was in Perfume in the role of Henrietta. She was a second support actress in Unfaithful in 2002, which starred Richard Gere, Diane Lane, and others.
