Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda is an Filipino singer and songwriter who gained attention in the Philippines during the 1890s . He was also a star internationally in 2007 as the new lead singer of the American rock band Journey. Arnel is 54 years old as of 2021, he was born Arnel Campaner Pineda, on the 5th of September 1967 in Tondo, Manila, Philippines. Every year, his birthday is September 5. Arnel is expected to turn 55 on September 5 2022. His birth sign is Virgo. Arnel is 5'4" (164 cm) tall. The family was left in financial burdens following the loss of his mother. Since his father was six months behind the rent, and also was unable to pay for his family's needs so his father decided to ask his relatives to help Arnel's brothers and sisters. Seeing the condition, Arnel quit school and began working to help ease his father's burden. Arnel was born in St. Jude Thaddeus Diagnostic Clinic located in Tondo, Manila, the Philippines to Restituto Lising Pinda and Josefina Manansala Campaner. Arnel was inspired by his mother to sing when he was a young child. His parents entered him in many singing contests. Arnel’s mother died of heart disease at the age of 13. The death of his mother occurred in February 2006. After her death, his family was left broke. Because his father was six months behind the rent was also not able to provide for his family, his father decided to request his family members to take Arnel's siblings. Arnel is the youngest of three brothers, Roderick Pineda and Joselito Pineda. In the wake of the situation, Arnel quit school and began working to relieve the burden of his father. Arnel went on to spend nearly two decades on the streets sleeping wherever the opportunity arose. He collected newspapers and glass bottles and then sold the bottles to recyclers. Arnel was also a part-time worker in odd jobs, such as cleaning scrap metal and docked ships. Arnel is married to Cherry Pineda. The couple tied the knot in the year 2001. The couple have two kids together The couple has a daughter (Theachenelle Pineda), and a boy (Cherub). Arnel is also blessed with Matthew and Angelo who are his older sons.

He has also written, appeared in and directed "Jason Nash is Married" and "FML". The actor was a part of HBO's "Funny or Die Presents".
