Britney Jean Spears

Britney Jean Spears was born in McComb, Mississippi, and was raised in Kentwood. Britney was a dancer as a child and won many competitions in gymnastics. Britney was a superb performer and dancer. Britney was 8 years old when she attempted to be a part of The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) However her youth led to her being disqualified. Britney was then suggested to the off-Broadway production "Ruthless" in which she performed in the title role for two years. At 11 years old she attempted a second time for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989). This time, she played an emoji-eer, along with other stars of today, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez (*NSYNC) and Ryan Gosling. In the late 90s, Britney was signed by Jive Recording Artist. Britney's debut album, "...Baby, was released in 1999. Britney also sold 9 million copies (as at July 1, 2001) of her second album "Oops !...I Do It Again" that came out in May 2000. Britney was the daughter of Lynne Spears (and Jamie Spears) and has a huge sister named Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney was always destined to be the next big thing from an early age. Britney loved singing and was influenced by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. After having a lot of vocal and dance lessons, as well as appearing in various shows and fairs, Britney auditioned for The All New Mickey Mouse Club (1989) TV show between 1989 and 1994 when she was just 8, however, she was too young for the part. Instead, Britney, her mother and baby sister relocated to New York where she starred in numerous TV commercials as well as an off-Broadway play, "Ruthless", where she was understudy with Natalie Portman. A few years later her love for dancing and music began to take over. She auditioned for a second time to be on "Mickey Mouse" and was chosen with Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake.
